Tough Workout
Did an upper body circuit of 5 movements with rowing mixed in the middle. Did 720m and another 719m second time around, but nearly blew groceries after the second one. It’s probably been a month since I was last on the rowing machine.

Sore but can still swim
Quads and gluts are pretty sore today from the squats and kettlebell swings yesterday. Good news is it doesn’t really effect me in the pool so I was able to still get in pretty good swim this morning.

Stretching it out
Hoping to prevent some of that stiffness. I really need to do a lot more stretching and flexability work. My muscles are like guitar strings. ping, ping I can hear them every time I try to stretch. I swear for my age, size and physical condition I am one of the least limber people ever.

Good Swim
Finally back on track. It’s amazing how it took the better part of a week to be fully recovered from the bug. Little bit sore today from the kettlebell swings yesterday, so the swim felt good to work some of the kinks out. I’ll probably be more sore tomorrow. Seems to really kick in the 2nd day after a workout.

My psycho trainer had me doing kettlebell exercises this morning. Last time we did them my legs were sore for days. He also had me doing push ups on the upside down bosu ball, which we’ve done before, only this time he had my feet up balancing on a medicine ball….
